There is an EVA-filled heel and forepart for lightweight comfort, and an airport-friendly nylon shank that will not set off metal detectors. A Timberland tree logo is embossed on the side, with the Timberland name embossed on the tongue and trim. Nautical flags spell out the Timberland name on the inside collar. The outsole is a durable, non-marking, siped thermo-rubber that provides outstanding traction on wet surfaces.
